Special Rules for the Summer Pass
July 15 through September 15:
During this period, the Summer Pass is valid starting at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
Four attractions are only available starting on the second day of your stay:
• Schmittenhöhe summit ride (via the Schmittenhöhenbahn and trassXpress)
• Summit cable car & Gletscherjet 3+4 on the Kitzsteinhorn (from the Alpincenter)
• Boat tour on Lake Zell
• High-mountain reservoirs in Kaprun
Period May 15 through July 14 and September 16 through October 31:
These four attractions are also included on the day of arrival, and the Summer Card is valid all day.
Please note:
Ski lifts and special rides are generally not included.
Use of the Summer Card on mountain railways is only permitted for guests without winter sports equipment.
With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can use all public transport free of charge to get directly to your excursion destination. This is valid for the entire duration of your stay and throughout Salzburger Land. From the 1st night, every guest receives the Guest Mobility Ticket in summer and can use it to explore the entire region and the whole of Salzburger Land.
You will automatically receive the Guest Mobility Ticket on arrival.
Perfect Infrastructure
In order to begin your vacation in Zell am See-Kaprun in a relaxed and stress-free manner, it is best if you travel by train and benefit from the very well-developed infrastructure.
Zell am See-Kaprun does not only have stellar train connections to all Austrian and, further, European cities, but the Zell am See train station is located in the town center. From there, many hotels, cafes, and restaurants can easily be reached on foot.
And otherwise, handy bus connections in town and in between villages will also bring you directly to your lodgings.
