Safety in Times of Corona
Dear Guests! The laws change almost daily, as you know. We keep to them, of course, because we value the health and safety of our guests and employees. This is why hygiene and cleanliness have always been a top priority at SPORT RESORT ALPENBLICK. Several times a year, we educate our staff on correct hand hygiene as well as the hygiene of all areas of the hotel. We place special importance on hand disinfection before eating, meal preparation, and after bathroom use. Since July 2020, SPORT RESORT ALPENBLICK has been taking part in the Austrian tourism department's initiative to have our staff tested weekly for a corona infection.
As everywhere else, you should keep the following ground rules in mind during your stay at SPORT RESORT ALPENBLICK:
- Keep at least a two-meter distance to persons outside of your own group
- Refrain from shaking hands, hugging, and physical contact
- Wash your hands several times a day with water and soap
- Do not touch your face with soiled hands
- Sneeze or cough into your elbow or a tissue
- Follow the instructions of our staff
New entry regulations starting May 19th
In the future, Austrian regulations will be guided by the ECDC map for risk areas.
- green/orange: free entry
- red: entry only for tested, vaccinated or recovered persons
- dark red: entry only for tested, vaccinated or recovered persons plus quarantine (possibility of testing out after 5 days)
- View ECDC map
Entry from Germany - as of May 13th, 2021: Starting May 19th, entry from Germany is possible without the need to go into quarantine. Upon return to Germany, quarantine is not required either.
Keeping a distance shows appreciation
We should keep a physical distance of at least one meter at all times. Our resort is quite large and spacious. In turn, we enjoy the social closeness at SPORT RESORT ALPENBLICK even more.
Please do not shake hands for the time being
We greet each other with a smile, a wave, or some other form of contactless welcoming.
Wearing a mask protects
One feels most comfortable with one's own mask. Please bring your own. You need to wear it whenever you are in the building. Exceptions: at the dining table and in the SPA. If you should forget your mask, we do, of course, have FFP2 masks on hand at the hotel.
Hygiene is a top priority
This has always been a central topic for us. Hygiene is part of treating each other respectfully. In the restaurant, in the spa, and in the rooms.
Fresh air feels good
There are many wonderful places in and around the SPORT AND FAMILY RESORT ALPENBLICK. Fresh air feels good and rejuvenates the senses. Let's use the outdoors on our Salzburg vacation to become refueled with energy.
Private spots are valuable
At SPORT RESORT ALPENBLICK everyone has enough space for themselves. Our large hotel grounds offer numerous possibilities of finding your own private corner, without having to worry about keeping a physical distance to others.
Togetherness is most important
We ask you to wear a mask covering mouth and nose in the buffet area and during the wellness treatments. Wash your hands regularly and disinfect them. Keep the minimal distance to other guests, because that is the only way it can become by far the best vacation you have ever had.
Check-in and check-out
At check-in, registration includes the showing of a valid negative test result, a vaccination certificate, or a certificate stating that you have recovered from COVID-19. Getting tested on-site is also possible.
Validity of certificates - Self-test with digital validation: 1 day; antigen test: 2 days; PCR test: 3 days; recovered persons: up to 6 months after the illness; vaccinated persons: from 22 days after the first shot up to a year.
After your arrival you will need to do an observed self-test every other day during your stay if you want to call on any further services. We recommend cash-less payment at check-out.
Bar & Restaurant
A maximum of 8 adults (plus under-age children) per table is allowed – without any restrictions regarding separate households. In the outdoor area, a maximum of 16 adults is allowed. You need to wear an FFP2 mask, except when at the table.

As far as the current laws allow, we naturally offer our regular culinary range.
