Slow-Cember is an invitation to experience Advent, mindfully. Outside, the first lights start to glow, the Christmas markets open their doors, and suddenly there's room for anticipation, the kind you rarely find in everyday life.

No program that needs to be checked off. No hustle that comes along for the ride. Whoever wants to can immerse themselves in the magic of the Christmas markets or hit the freshly groomed slopes. Whoever prefers to sleep in simply does that.

Exactly when the lights come on, your most beautiful pre-Christmas season begins.

Slow Kulinarik

  • Slow Breakfast, 7:00 – 10:30 AM. Regional, homemade, vegan and vegetarian: starting the day without any rush.
  • Slow Spa Lunch, 12:30 – 2:30 PM. Light, fresh and seasonal: the break that's actually a break.
  • Slow Tea Time, 3:00 – 4:30 PM. Homemade pastries, tea of the day and small desserts for the afternoon.

Slow Spa

The spa is yours. Whether with a sauna session, in silence or simply in warm water. Here, you decide what does you good today.

Slow Advent

Whether right outside your door or in the heart of Salzburg's old town: with the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can travel by bus and train throughout the entire Salzburger Land free of charge for the duration of your stay, no car needed.

  • Our own Christmas market in the courtyard, every Wednesday in Advent
  • Sternenadvent at Lake Zell, with a magical display of lights right on the shore
  • Burgadvent at Kaprun Castle, with a historic setting and a program of concerts and readings
  • Lichterpark by Lumagica, an illuminated trail through Zell am See featuring glowing figures and animals

We just got back from a lovely weekend getaway at Sportresort Alpenblick. The hotel and service were fantastic. The room was spacious, and the wellness and spa area was beautiful, with an indoor/outdoor pool and various other wellness options. We especially loved the additional natural swimming lake.

A wonderful hotel!

Great facilities and the food is a dream. A truly pleasant, cozy atmosphere with lots of loving details, and you can really feel the family tradition. The hotel's owners are often around and always make sure guests are well looked after. We felt very welcome and would happily come back anytime!

We're absolutely delighted with our stay. Everything was outstanding!

Breakfast and dinner were both delicious and prepared with a lot of care. Everything was clean, tidy and well-kept throughout. The coffee in particular was excellent.

The owner and the entire staff were very friendly, polite and always in good spirits. We felt welcome and at ease the whole time.

We were especially impressed by the many small touches. Right at the entrance, we were greeted with a sign displaying our family name and a personal welcome message. That's how our stay began, in a truly special way.

Thank you for the warm hospitality. We'd love to come back and can recommend this hotel without reservation.

We had a thoroughly wonderful stay at Sportresort Alpenblick and felt welcome from the very first moment. The rooms are beautiful, very well-kept, and offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. We'd especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly staff. Whether at reception, in the restaurant, or at the bar, we were treated with genuine warmth and attentiveness everywhere. Service at breakfast, and especially at dinner, was outstanding. The wine recommendations were excellent and highly knowledgeable. Dietary intolerances were also handled with great understanding and care, with wonderful alternatives offered, always with charm and professionalism. It really made us feel valued as guests. A big compliment also goes to the bar team, who conjured up fantastic drinks every evening and created such a relaxed atmosphere.

All in all, Sportresort Alpenblick is a wonderfully charming, family-run hotel where hospitality isn't just a promise, it's lived out every day. You can feel the passion and the focus on guests' wellbeing in every detail.

We'd love to come back and can recommend this hotel without reservation!

What are the opening hours of the wellness & spa area?

Our water world is open from 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM.

Our sauna world is open from 10:00 AM – 9:30 PM.

From 7:00 PM, things get especially quiet with the Silent Spa, and on Saturdays, the Midnight Spa gives you even more time to unwind, until midnight.

What can you do in December?

Advent here is all about the lights. Every Wednesday, our own Christmas market takes place in the courtyard, with mulled wine, gingerbread and Pinzgau farmer's doughnuts. On December 12th and 13th, the Sternenadvent at Lake Zell beckons with its magical display of lights right on the shore.

With the Guest Mobility Ticket, you can travel by bus or train throughout Salzburger Land free of charge all year round, including in December, for example for a trip to the Christmas market on Salzburg's Cathedral and Residenz Square.

The Kitzsteinhorn already has regular ski operations in December, so a day on the glacier is well worth it even now. If you prefer something cozier, try curling on the terrace or a torchlight hike followed by chestnuts and mulled wine by the fire circle. And if you'd rather stay in, take some time for yoga, a Slow Workout, or one of our Advent wreath-making workshops.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, of course! Your dog is very welcome with us, just let us know when you make your reservation.
