The quietest time of the year.

Slow-vember

November 01st to November 30th, 2026

Slow-vember is an invitation to slow down, on purpose. Outside, it grows quieter, the mountains fade into the background, and suddenly there's room, the kind you rarely find in everyday life.

No program that needs to be checked off. No stress that comes along for the ride. Whoever wants to can start the morning with yoga or brave the icy waters of Lake Zell. Whoever prefers to sleep in simply does that.

Exactly when the mountains grow quiet, your most beautiful escape begins.

We're absolutely delighted with our stay. Everything was outstanding!

Breakfast and dinner were both delicious and prepared with a lot of care. Everything was clean, tidy and well-kept throughout. The coffee in particular was excellent.

The owner and the entire staff were very friendly, polite and always in good spirits. We felt welcome and at ease the whole time.

We were especially impressed by the many small touches. Right at the entrance, we were greeted with a sign displaying our family name and a personal welcome message. That's how our stay began, in a truly special way.

Thank you for the warm hospitality. We'd love to come back and can recommend this hotel without reservation.

We had a thoroughly wonderful stay at Sportresort Alpenblick and felt welcome from the very first moment. The rooms are beautiful, very well-kept, and offer everything you need for a relaxing stay. We'd especially like to highlight the exceptionally friendly staff. Whether at reception, in the restaurant, or at the bar, we were treated with genuine warmth and attentiveness everywhere. Service at breakfast, and especially at dinner, was outstanding. The wine recommendations were excellent and highly knowledgeable. Dietary intolerances were also handled with great understanding and care, with wonderful alternatives offered, always with charm and professionalism. It really made us feel valued as guests. A big compliment also goes to the bar team, who conjured up fantastic drinks every evening and created such a relaxed atmosphere.

All in all, Sportresort Alpenblick is a wonderfully charming, family-run hotel where hospitality isn't just a promise, it's lived out every day. You can feel the passion and the focus on guests' wellbeing in every detail.

We'd love to come back and can recommend this hotel without reservation!

What can you do in November?

There's plenty going on, both indoors and out. Guided Slow Walks lead through the autumn forest and along Lake Zell, along with ice bathing or curling on the terrace. The Kitzsteinhorn already guarantees snow from October, so a trip up the glacier is well worth it in November too.
